Job Description
Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Management Analyst to manage vendor relationships as part of our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activities. This role is essential for stabilizing procurement systems, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring a smooth transition throughout the M&A process. The ideal candidate will act as the liaison between product owners and all cross-functional teams during the transition process, which includes Infosec, Privacy, Third Party Risk Management, Finance, and Engineering teams. The candidate will collaborate directly with external vendors and internal leaders to support negotiations and other key activities, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all involved parties. They will be pivotal in coordinating efforts and maintaining operational continuity.



Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new and existing vendors, ensuring adherence to company policies and M&A requirements.

• M&A Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support M&A initiatives by providing expertise in procurement, vendor onboarding, contract guidance, security reviews, and sourcing activities.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal subject matter experts across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Global Sourcing, and other areas to drive sourcing projects to completion.

• Vendor Partnership Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for interactions with vendor partners within the assigned domain.

• Vendor Communication and Management: Support vendor management activities, including supplier communication and contract and commercial negotiations.

• Contract Review and Negotiations: Analyze and negotiate contract terms with vendors to ensure alignment with organizational goals and M&A strategies.

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on procurement goals.

• Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

• Problem Solving and Efficiency: Collaborate interdepartmentally to develop creative solutions, proactively seeking value, savings, and efficiency opportunities.

• Order and Billing Management: Create and schedule purchase orders with vendors, follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery, and review billings to correct errors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Documentation and Data Management: Maintain all necessary documentation, management information, and data, including project trackers and asset databases.

• Guidance and Feedback: Provide high-quality advice to the business units on procurement matters and offer candid, meaningful feedback while keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.



Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Education & Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business, technology, or finance. Candidates with strong real-world experience and a background in a similar role will also be considered.

• 2-4 years of experience in strategic sourcing.

• 1-2 years of experience working directly with IT sourcing and familiarity with various licensing structures.

• 1 year of experience with M&A.



Skills & Competencies:

• Strong skills in analytical thinking, financial analysis, problem-solving, and project management.

• Experience working with internal teams such as Infosec, Privacy, Third Party Risk Management, Finance, and Engineering teams.

• Experience leading projects or initiatives.

• Strong understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

• Experience with direct and indirect spend management and cost reduction programs.

• Proven track record of improving operational capabilities and driving cost savings.

• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools, Ariba, and project planning tools.

• Proficiency in applying analysis to spend and cost comparisons.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Self-directed team player with the ability to drive high performance and work independently or collaboratively.

• A curious mindset with a strong desire to learn.
