Rose International Awarded Millennia Lite Contract By General Services Administration

ST. LOUIS, May 8, 2000 – Rose International, a leader in providing technology and e-business solutions, today announced that the General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service (GSA FTS) awarded the company a multi-million dollar contract to provide mission support services to federal agencies under the Millennia Lite program. The contract has a base period of three years, plus award term options to extend the contract to a total of 10 years. The maximum dollar value for all contracts awarded under Millennia Lite is $20 billion.

Rose is the prime vendor on a team of eight IT organizations. The other team members are 4-Ward Tech, Inc., EDSI, Severn, Sterling Software, Communication Technologies, Inc., Planning Technologies, Inc., and Sunrise Technologies, Inc. Team Rose was awarded a contract under Functional Area 3, which covers mission support services. These services include software development and maintenance, facilities management and operations, network design and support, data entry, storage and retrieval, support of specialized workstations, computer installation, integration and maintenance, information center/help desk, computer graphics support, electronic records management, and management, administration, operation and maintenance of computer systems.

The multiple-award, indefinite quantity contract is available for use by all federal agencies worldwide. Task orders may be fixed-price, cost reimbursement, time and materials, or labor hour.
