Rose International CEO Selected as Missouri's Small-Business Person of the Year

The Small Business Administration recognizes Himanshu Bhatia as the state's top small-business entrepreneur.

ST. LOUIS, March 19, 2001 – Himanshu Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer of Rose International, a leader in providing technology and e-business solutions, was recently named Missouri’s Small-Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

“Being recognized as Missouri’s Small-Business Person of the Year is both an honor and a privilege,” said Mrs. Bhatia. “This award proves that in business, working hard, staying dedicated and building a strong team can take you a long way.”

The SBA based their selections not only on the financial success of the business but also on its staying power, employee growth, innovation and creative solutions. The winners are also chosen for their involvement within their communities.

The SBA will honor America’s top entrepreneurs – and name the National Small Business Person of the Year for 2001 – during ceremonies in Washington, D.C. marking National Small Business Week.

The celebration in Washington, D.C., on May 7-9, culminates a series of events in local communities across the nation to honor state winners in anticipation of National Small Business Week. This year’s celebration theme, "A History of Success, A Millennium of Opportunity," captures the entrepreneurial spirit of these exceptional small business owners.
