Rose International Named to the Inc 500 for Second Consecutive Year

The St. Louis-based IT firm makes the list for the second time.

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 21, 2001 – Rose International, a leader in information technology consulting, has been named to the prestigious Deloitte & Touche “Technology Fast 50” Program for the St. Louis Region, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the area. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in revenues from 1996-2000 (five-year period). Rose ranked 6th this year with a revenue growth rate of 1,231 percent over the last five years.

Rose’s CEO, Himanshu Bhatia, credits employee commitment and a long-term vision for the company's amazing growth. "Although the market is not what it used to be, companies and government organizations still have a fervent need for information technology,” she said. “Our customers turn to us because they know we’re in it for the long haul and because our employees have proven that they can consistently be depended upon.”

“It’s one thing to succeed when the economy is good, and another when there is a tough market,” said Mike Zychinski, Deloitte & Touche, St. Louis Office Managing Partner. “Rose International has proven itself by attaining an exceptional 1,231 percent rate of growth, while other technology companies struggle to survive. We applaud their foresight and vision in excelling in the face of adversity.”

This is the fourth consecutive year Rose has been named to this prestigious and highly contested list, placing first last year and second in both 1998 and 1999. The competition is fierce, and very few companies can claim to rank continuously on the list at all, let alone among the top 10.
