Rose International Attains CMM Level 3 Certification

ST. LOUIS, August 1, 2003 – Rose International, a St. Louis based IT services and solutions company, announced that its offshore development center, Rose IT Solutions (ITS), has been successfully certified at Software-Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 3. Rose International’s ITS subsidiary is one of only a handful of companies in India that have achieved CMM Level 3.

The CMM certification is an industry-recognized framework for consistent quality delivery of software products and services. It has become the standard for measuring the effectiveness of IT organizations. The ratings are earned through an exhaustive independent evaluation involving analysis and review of a company's software development capability, its processes and its products. Only a small percentage of evaluated companies reach Level 3 certification, and even fewer reach the higher levels of 4 and 5, which Rose ITS anticipates reaching in 2004.
