Rose International CEO Recognized as a Top Female Business Owner
Rose CEO chosen as a top woman entrepreneur in North America
ST. LOUIS (April 27, 2005)- Rose International CEO, Himanshu (Sue) Bhatia, has been recognized as a Top Woman Business Builder by Fast Company and the Women Presidents’ Organization.
This award recognizes Mrs. Bhatia for her success as a female business leader, as well as her innovative business models and leadership skills.
“Woman-owned and operated businesses are increasingly being recognized by Corporate America and government,” said Mrs. Bhatia. “America’s 9.1 million women-owned businesses employ 27.5 million people, and contribute $3.6 trillion to the economy. To ignore these businesses, would be a strategic mistake. It’s exciting to see a magazine like Fast Company put the resources into such a list and it is an honor to be recognized in this list!”
This first annual awards competition for women entrepreneurs received nearly 600 applications. The top 25 applicants made the list of winners. The winners were honored at the annual Women Presidents’ Organization conference earlier this month and featured in the May 2005 issue of Fast Company.
