Rose International Partners with Kansas City Chamber of Commerce
Website will connect minority suppliers with area businesses
ST. LOUIS (August 19, 2005)-Rose International has partnered with the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce through the development of the MBE/WBE Connection website.
Together with POWER, Rose International developed MBE/WBE Connection, which compiled local minority business supplier data from numerous certifying agencies, and created an online central place for supplier business listings.
"We are anxious for the website to launch," said Mrs. Himanshu Bhatia, CEO of Rose International. "The project itself was an important one for us, but the website's usage is also important. There are outstanding minority- and woman-owned businesses that are bringing innovative products and ideas to the marketplace. This project is exciting in that it highlights such value for Corporate America. The KC Chamber is taking a leadership position here, and is to be commended. We're honored to be a part of it."
MBE/WBE Connection is officially set to launch September 13, 2005 at the POWER of Diversity Celebration. However, the site will be demonstrated at The Chamber's Business to Business Expo on August 23, 2005. Rose will also be exhibiting at this event.
