Rose CEO Honored with National Minority Supplier Development Council's Leadership Award

Rose CEO recognized for her commitment to minority business development

ST. LOUIS MO (May 16, 2005) - Himanshu Bhatia, CEO of Rose International, has been awarded the National Minority Supplier Development Council's (NMSDC) Minority Business Leadership Award.

This award honors Mrs. Bhatia for her significant achievements, and also her long-term commitment to minority business development.

"This is a great honor," said Mrs. Bhatia. "As business people, we go to war everyday. It feels good to pause every now and then to let someone tell you that you're on the right track."

Each year the NMSDC recognizes three individuals for their commitment to minority business development. This year John W. Rogers, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Ariel Capital Management and Patricia F. Russo, chairman and chief executive officer, Lucent Technologies, will also be honored.

Mrs. Bhatia will receive her award at the NMSDC Leadership Awards Dinner-Dance on May 18th at the Hilton New York and Towers in New York . More than 1,400 people are expected to attend, including CEOs and executives of Fortune 500 corporations and minority business owners from across the nation.
